How To

Repairing A Damaged Motor Of A Drone

It is important to first identify which motor part is damaged before you can repair it. The best way to do so is to take the propeller off the motor shaft. Then, you need to remove any wires connected to the motor and inspect its inner workings. If you spot something wrong, you can identify which part of the motor needs to be fixed.

You don't need to worry if there's no damage to your motor. However, a motor that looks like the one below will require you to replace certain components before you can fly again.

Let's say that a motor is bent so that it can no longer turn. This means that you will need to bend the motor back into shape. To hold the engine, use a pair pliers or a vice grip. After you have completed this step, be sure to inspect the motor for any signs of wear.

Once everything looks good, you can put the propeller back on the motor shaft. Then, reattach the wires. Your drone is now ready to fly!
